Handpicked grapes from 40-year-old vineyards in the original Rüdesheim sites “Backhaus, Engerweg & Gessel.” Pressed using a traditional basket press.

Spontaneously fermented with natural yeasts, including 6% whole berries. Aged for 14 months on fine lees in a wooden barrel. Bottled unfiltered to preserve all natural aromas.
